london's daily mail quotes a witness in the morgue saying Jackson had "a small hole where the singer's nose should have been."

"The prosthesis he normally attached to his damaged nose was missing, revealing bits of cartilage surrounding a small dark hole," the witness told the Mail.

This is not the first puzzling anatomy story in the Jackson death saga london 's Mirror reported last month that the King of Pop was buried without his brain.

The newspaper claimed his brain was removed to complete an autopsy and would be entombed with the pop star when medical examiners were finished.

Jackson died from a cardiac arrest at his beverly hills mansion on June 25. The cause is still unknown.

Peter Jackson joked about ducking out of a discussion with director James Cameron — which drew thousands of fans to the San Diego Convention Center’s largest meeting hall — to walk the floor with fewer crowds.

Stars love Comic-Con — and not just because it’s a great place to promote their movies. They’re moved by the passion of the fans, and it seems to rejuvenate their own passion for working in film.

Fans at the pop-culture convention “not only celebrate fantasy and science fiction and fantastic worlds, but they celebrate each other, and they celebrate their geekness, and there’s a sense of solidarity,” said Cameron, who premiered footage from his anticipated 3D sci-fi adventure, “Avatar,” to conventioneers on Thursday. “And what this group does is they make filmmakers do better. Because if you don’t live up to their standards, you’re not going to get past this. This is the launch pad right here.”

The stars of “Twilight” — Taylor Lautner, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart — said fans’ overwhelming response at Comic-Con helped make their first film such a success. Kristen Bell, a veteran of five Cons, said, “it’s the best place for super-fans.”

Director Tim Burton, who showed a piece of his forthcoming “Alice in Wonderland,” said he first came to Comic-Con as an aspiring filmmaker in the 1970s.

“I saw a slide show for the first ‘Superman.’ People were very passionate about it and it kind of scared me,” he said. “It’s a very pure form of passion that it transcends business and anything else. Passion is a very good thing. And that’s why you make movies that you hope people respond to, and so it’s good to see and feel that energy here.”

Actor Ben Foster, attending his second Comic-Con, also felt the fear.

“It’s a zoo. It’s a Halloween zoo,” he said. “I have no idea how to process this place. It’s funny. And then you have these waves of fear. … I’m not accustomed to seeing this many people dressed up in samurai outfits and aliens, all in one space.”

Back in India, the headlines in news papers continue to chase the film. Director Anant Mahadevan, who was inspired to make the film after reading the stunning account of the farm laborer in a prominent daily, says that Red Alert- The War Within, was a story waiting to be told, a question waiting to be asked. MJ was left to die after being pumped with Propofol sedative, claims family

LONDON - Michael Jackson’s family has alleged that the late star may have been left to die after being injected with Propofol sedative. Jackson’s mother Katherine and her family apparently revealed that the singer had cleared strict medical tests suggesting he was drug-free just three months before his passing away.

But the Thriller hitmaker reportedly suffered insomnia and leg pain ahead of his comeback tour in London and fell into the hands of doctors who pumped massive doses of narcotics into him, reports The Sun.

The Jacksons were allegedly convinced that Jackson lay unattended when a doctor fell asleep after giving the King of Pop powerful anaesthetic Propofol intravenously at his LA mansion.

Meanwhile, lawyer for Jackson’s personal physician Conrad Murray insisted the medic did not administer any drug that contributed to the star’s death.

Attorney Ed Chernoff, however, declined to comment if Murray injected Jackson with Propofol. (ANI)

Drunk Winehouse accused of punching a female fan

LONDON - Troubled British singer Amy Winehouse left a female fan numb when she punched her in the face as the woman posed for a photo with the star.

The singer, who recently returned to Britain following an extended holiday in the Caribbean, arrived at London’s City of Westminster Magistrates’ Court Thursday morning to stand trial for allegedly assaulting dancer Sherene Flash, reports contacmtusic.com.

Flash took the stand and told the hearing that Winehouse lashed out at the End of Summer Ball in the British capital last September. She had been dancing at the venue that evening and later saw Winehouse looking “drunk and like she was on drugs” in a dressing room. Flash and a friend approached the singer and asked for a photograph and as they posed with Winehouse, the star allegedly hit her in the face.

Flash told the court: “She punched me forcefully in my right eye. I started to cry and I was shocked.”

Lawyers for Winehouse insist the singer accidentally “caught her in her eye” as she tried to push Flash away.

Winehouse, 25, has pleaded not guilty to the charge and is expected to take the stand herself during the trial, which is scheduled to last two days.

Michael Jackson’s doctor charged with manslaughter investigation

LOS ANGELES — The personal physician who tried to revive a dyingMichael Jackson has been named as the target of a manslaughter probe into the singer’s death.

A search warrant filed Thursday allowed authorities to seek “property or items constituting evidence of the offense of manslaughter that tend to show that Dr. Conrad Murray committed the said criminal offense.”

The warrant was filed a day after agents seized items from the physician’s Houston clinic and a rented storage unit.

Murray, 51, was with Jackson as he died and has been a key figure in the monthlong investigation since the beginning. The search of his clinic indicated authorities were focusing on him, but the warrant language made it clear he’s the target.

The court documents detailed items seized by federal drug agents and Los Angeles police. Among them were 27 tablets of the weight loss drug phentermine, a tablet of the muscle relaxant clonazepam, two computer hard drives, e-mails and a controlled substance registration.

Murray’s lawyer, Edward Chernoff, confirmed a search warrant had been executed and that none of the items seized had previously been requested by authorities, but did not comment further.

Murray was hired as Jackson’s personal physician just weeks before he died. He was in Jackson’s rented Los Angeles mansion when the pop star was found unconscious the morning of June 25 and tried unsuccessfully to revive him.

Murray, a cardiologist, is licensed to practice in California, Texas and Nevada. Records show he has had no disciplinary actions taken against him, though one item seized by investigators is a suspension notice from a Houston hospital. No details are provided.

The Los Angeles County coroner’s office was not expected to make an official determination of what killed Jackson until at least next week, and investigators this week were reviewing medical records taken from the offices of other doctors in the probe.

Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said Thursday he had sought information from “seven or eight” doctors and Murray is the only one he has yet to talk to.

Winter said Chernoff had offered to speak with the coroner Friday but without Murray present.

“We don’t want to talk to the attorney, we want to talk to” Murray, Winter said.

Chernoff issued a brief statement in response, saying Winter had not made any requests to interview his client.

The powerful anesthetic propofol has emerged an important part of the investigation. Doses of it were found in Jackson’s mansion, according to a person with knowledge of the investigation who is not authorized to speak publicly. The drug was not among the items seized under the search warrant.

LeAnn Rimes And Husband Are Separated

It seems that LeAnn Rimes is finally getting the answer to her most famous and pressing question: "How do I live without you?" The answer: quite easily.

Friends close to the singer/actress have told People magazine that she's been living apart from her husband, Dean Sheremet for "quite some time now."

But, despite rumors that LeAnn has been having an affair with her Lifetime made-for-television movie co-star Eddie Cibrian for months, her friends insist that her cheating was "not the cause" of the split.

"There have been issues brewing for months prior to meeting Eddie on set," one explains.

The friends don't elaborate on what the issues are, but we can't help but think they might include: the fact that LeAnn comes with all the baggage of a former child star, the high divorce rate for couples that get married at a young age (LeAnn was only nineteen when she married Dean), and the reports that she has out-of-control stalker tendancies.

As for the future, does this mean that Leann and Eddie can finally take their affair to the next level (especially now that Eddie is also separated from his spouse)?

LeAnn's friends say not quite yet.

"Le and Dean...they're continuing to try and work through their relationship."

Fans get first peek at "iron man 2 'at comic -con

SAN DIEGO - The buzz for the first "Iron Man" film began at Comic-Con, director Jon Favreau said, so he thanked fans for their support by showing an exclusive clip from next summer's sequel.

"Nobody cared before you guys did," Favreau told a capacity crowd inside the San Diego Convention Center's largest assembly hall Saturday. Then he rolled the clip, which introduced the film's anticipated new characters.

It showed an eye-patch-wearing Samuel L. Jackson, who plays Nick Fury, and a redheaded Scarlett Johansson throwing down as martial-arts master Black Widow. It introduced Sam Rockwell as weapons guru Justin Hammer; a fearsome-looking, heavily tattooed Mickey Rourke as the villain Ivan Vanko, who becomes Whiplash; and Don Cheadle as Col. James Rhodes, who becomes War Machine.

Terrence Howard played Rhodes in the first "Iron Man" film. Cheadle's character addresses the change in a few quick lines to Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.).

"It's me. I'm here. Deal with it. Let's move on," Cheadle's Rhodes says.

Fans got a quick glimpse of War Machine's super-powered, weapon-filled suit and Whiplash's first attempt at a wearable apparatus that features two electrically charged whips.

Downey, Cheadle, Johansson and Rockwell joined Favreau at Comic-Con to present the footage.

"You guys saw it before we even saw it," Cheadle told the crowd.

"That trailer blew my mind, actually," Rockwell said.

Johansson said she trained in mixed martial arts so she could perform her own stunts. And Rourke visited a Russian prison to add authenticity to his character, Favreau said.

"I thought I was eccentric," Downey quipped. "He's something else."

"Iron Man 2" is set to hit theaters in May 2010. Comic-Con continues through Sunday.

Michael Jackson's hair is being turned into diamonds

Michael Jackson's hair is being turned into diamonds. A company called LifeGem is using the hair to make a limited number of the gems.

The hair was collected by Jacko's former pal Ralph Cohen after the accident in 1984 on the set of a Pepsi commercial, when the star's hair was set on fire after a stunt went horribly wrong. The advert's executive producer Cohen threw his Armani jacket over Jackson's head to help smother the flames. But after aiding his pal, Cohen later gathered up some of Jackson's charred tresses. Cohen then auctioned off the hair recently and the winning bid was made by collector John Reznikoff, who has also over the years collected hair from such other famous figures as Marilyn Monroe and President John F Kennedy. Reznikoff is now teaming up with LifeGem to sell the diamonds made from the fried follicles, although he will also keep some of the hair for his own collection. LifeGem will use it to create a small number of certified, high-quality diamonds as a tribute to Jackson's life. The diamonds will be available for fans to buy.
